THE AWEN NECKLACE; EARTH, SEA, SKY
DESCRIPTION
The Awen Necklace draws inspiration from the Celtic iteration of the Awen symbol, which features three emanating rays of light, each line a signature of Earth, Sea, and Sky. These rays are also commonly interpreted as symbolizing the three divisions of the soul: mind, body, and spirit, or the underworld, middle world, and upperworld. The pendant features a copper circular base wrapped with silver wire and three wrapped dangling pendants. Hand-cut pieces of scrap metal are attached to the very center of the pendant.
