Celia Liberace (b. 2000) is an East Coast and London-based artist whose practice enmeshes classical representation sourced from atelier traditions and her own passions - music, myth, the unconscious, and nature. She uses herself and loved ones as primary subjects, creating intimate works wherein the subject’s inner world is realised and deeply felt.

As a classically trained artist, she is fascinated by the body as a site of transformation and timeless storytelling—capable of expressing shifting psychological, spiritual, and physical states. With a particular focus on the female form, her work honors the body’s innate wisdom, offering meditations on gesture, sensuality, symmetry, decomposition, memory, and the body’s capacity to hold, endure, and alchemize. These themes often draw from poetry, folklore, and her Irish, Italian, and Czech heritages.

Celia attended The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in Manhattan, where she studied Fine Arts, history, and French. She spent time at L’École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France and Accademia Vivarium Novum in Frascati, Italy. She holds workshops internationally, sharing her breadth of inherited knowledge of drawing, painting, and storytelling with broader communities.
