The Selkie Corset is a contemporary reiteration of the early Edwardian corset. These corsets are made with a cream linen exterior and a fine cotton lining. They are boned using Rigilene (currently making the transition to reed boning) and are flossed alongside the bottom edge using embroidery thread. *Note, your customized corset will be made using a silver metal busk to enclose the front, rather than a series of hook and eyes shown in the photos. Images of the busk can be seen here.

The Selkie Laced Cuff is sewn using two layers of fine cream-colored linen. They feature hand-sewn historic eyelets and are finished at the bottom with hand-woven Armenian lace trim. Repurposed glass beads are strung throughout the trim.

The Awen Necklace draws inspiration from the Celtic iteration of the Awen symbol, which features three emanating rays of light, each line a signature of Earth, Sea, and Air. These rays are also commonly interpreted as symbolizing the three divisions of the soul: mind, body, and spirit, or the underworld, middle world, and upperworld. The pendant features a copper circular base wrapped with silver wire and three wrapped dangling pendants. Hand-cut pieces of scrap metal are attached to the very center of the pendant.

The balance of metal, fabric, and bone folds itself into a lightweight statement piece.”
